Alconza is delivering complete motor and alternator machinery packages to many different system integrators. Each set of equipment is specifically designed for electric propulsion and for the specific Variable Speed Drive technology used in each application.

2.- HYDRO MARKET

Alconza has become one of the leading European manufacturers in the small-scale hydro sector (defined in Europe as power plants up to 20 MW), and a market benchmark with regard to technical solutions and commercial competitiveness. This especially true with projects which require directly coupled machines as these units are always special (particularly from the mechanical point of view) and each project requires a unique design. Many large turbine groups are using Alconza as their preferred supplier for their projects.

Alconza can deliver both asynchronous and synchronous generators in all kinds of different executions, with multipole (low speed) solutions or special rotors/poles to withstand high peripheral speeds.

Alconza is involved in the production of special motors for increased safety for the Chemical and Petrochemical plants with ATEX certification. Large reciprocating compressors, with slow speed, is a typical application for these Alconza motors, because of their special requirements with regard to pulsating currents, Inertia, etc.
